I was born and raised in rural Alabama. I grew up in a household of 3 sisters, and 3 brothers. We didn’t have a lot of things, but we did have a lot of love and everything that we needed to survive. Education was always encouraged in our family. During my elementary, junior high, and high school years I always ranked in the top 5% of my class. After graduation, I attended Talladega College with a full scholarship and majored in chemistry. Upon graduation I futhered my education to attend Mercer University Southern School of Pharmacy and obtained my Doctor of Pharmacy Degree. I practiced Pharmacy for over 25 years and retired in 2018.
