Seeing the change in tone by actively listening to others is great! You have to pay attention to what the other person is saying. I listened to my wife, children and client today, repeated with the last few words that they said, labelled what I saw and was able to get a, "Is that right" for all conversations.


Everyone luhvs to be heard and when you show them that you are listening beyond just wanting to respond, that makes an instant connection with the other person. This is the leverage of "keeping it human" that's needed to conduct business and improve relationships. As Coach @Shaun Crumméy shared, "That's how you dominate". Of course there's more to that but you get the jist. Listen and respond with intent will convert into opportunites. Who wants to talk to someone who isn't listening or engaged? Remember, everyone wants to be heard.👂

Brother Jamal, I tried that labeling yesterday with my spouse right before we went to bed having a conversation and I could see her light up knowing that I was listening intently. It is new age of business being more human is gonna count.
